The Queen is reported to have told Prince Charles, "Dress gives one the outward sign from which people can judge the inward state of mind. One they can see, the other they cannot." Clearly, she was saying what many people are reluctant to accept; that people judge us by the way we dress.

In all situations, business and social, our outward appearances send a message.

The speaker for this event will be Lynette Morrison, Director of Tailored For You Ltd.

Tailored For You was founded in 2008 when Lynette found it impossible to buy good quality suits to fit on the High Street. Every woman she spoke to agreed: if a jacket fitted in the bust then the sleeves were too short or too long, or an item that was just right on the hips was too tight or too loose at the waist.

But if clothes don’t fit properly, particularly in a professional environment where first impressions are vital, this can impact on a woman’s confidence, her self-esteem and the way she’s viewed by colleagues and clients.

Lynette, who has a first class degree in Product Development for the Clothing Industry from the London College of Fashion, knew there must be a different way for women to buy affordable, quality clothes that fit beautifully. With more than ten years experience working for computer companies, she decided to fuse her fashion and IT skills to find a solution.

The meeting is held in the offices of UKCPD, Shaftesbury Centre, Percy Street, Swindon, SN2 2AZ from 12.00 – 2.00pm. The easiest place to park is in the car park for the Great Western Designer Outlet in Linslade Drive which costs a minimal amount. Then turn right as you are facing the Designer Outlet and walk to the end of Linslade Drive. Turn right again and proceed for 100 yards down Rodbourne Road, and Percy Street is second on the left. The Shaftesbury Centre is on the right hand side. Press the buzzer and tell the receptionist you are here for the Mission Possible meeting. The conference room is on the second floor. For those who require it there is a lift.
